The Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus has amended the license issued to RUE Beltelecom with the right to operate in the field of communications, according to which the company will be able to provide cellular mobile telecommunication services from January 17, 2022.

– Obtaining a license for the right to provide cellular mobile telecommunication services is a strategic decision for Beltelecom. A notable trend in the modern telecommunications market is the high quality and convergence of fixed and mobile services. Thanks to new competencies, we will be able to more effectively implement large-scale telecommunications projects for the digital economy, solve the problem of the “digital divide”, expand the range of services and additional services for the population and business. I am convinced that Beltelecom's entry into the cellular communication services market will contribute to the further successful development of the enterprise.

It is planned that Beltelecom will develop the provision of fourth-generation mobile communication services within the framework of an agreement concluded with the infrastructure operator of the LTE network.
