“My City” is expanding: now in Lyakhovichi!
The city of Lyakhovichi has joined the “My City platform”. Now local residents can install the mobile application on their smartphones and learn all about the digital services of their city.
“My City” will help users to keep abreast of all the news and events, introduce them to the services available in this region.
For convenience, they are structured by type of activity: city administration, active recreation and tourism, health and sports, education, and others. Thanks to the functionality of the platform, citizens can find the nearest bank, clinic or cafe and get the necessary information about them. The application also contains information about local attractions, museums, parks and other places of interest. Guests of the city will be able to independently make a tourist route and get acquainted with the most interesting places.
The main feature of the platform is the possibility of feedback from all project participants. Users can make an appointment with the executive committee, government agency or school, find out the opening hours of shops and cafes, call an emergency team, schedule a visit to a beauty salon or service station. In addition, local residents can take part in city polls, express their opinion and make suggestions for improving the city's infrastructure.
Lyakhovichi is the 19th city in Belarus where the application is running, and 40 more are getting ready to launch.
“My City” is a great example of how digital technology can improve the quality of life for people and make a city more attractive to locals and tourists.
The application “My city (Belarus)” is available for download in the App Store and Google Play. The list of cities connected to the application is presented here.
