Silver! Beltelecom team has taken the second place at the International Competition Hi-Tech 2023

The International competition of high-tech professions Hi-Tech 2023 has ended in Yekaterinburg. About a thousand competitors and experts fighted for victory in 35 competitive competencies. For the tenth time, the competition platform brought together welders, electricians, technicians and other specialists.

Beltelecom team took the 2nd place in the nomination “Backbone Lines. Construction and operation of FOTL”. Technical specialists of the Beltelecom Vitebsk branch Vladislav Bogolidov and Alexey Kharlampenko successfully dealt with several stages of the competition and confirmed the status of highest level professionals. The closest opponent of Beltelecom became the Rostelecom team, which took the 1st place.

The competitive part of the competition was maximally adapted to real working environment – all practical tasks of the competition were based on the requests of enterprises. For example, participants were required to quickly lay fiber-optic lines of varying complexity, find and repair cable damage, and perform many other tasks.

Beltelecom has been demonstrating decent results at the competition for a number of years. This confirms the high level of professionalism and technical skills of our participants, as well as their ability to work in team and perform complex tasks. The team captain, leading engineer of the Telecommunication Systems and Networks Operations Department of RUE Beltelecom, Vladimir Shaybak, noted that the guys were seriously preparing for the competition, so they were confident in their abilities and performed successfully. Participation in the competition provided new experience that will be applied in production processes at the company.
