More than 70 Belarusian cities have already digitized their infrastructure using the “My City” app. In June, the mobile platform became available to residents of Svetlogorsk.
Today, Svetlogorsk is firmly on the path of digital transformation. Thanks to the committed position of the Svetlogorsk District Executive Committee, the “smart city” concept is being implemented. The “My City” mobile app is its practical tool. The digital platform integrates the most popular services and facilitates interactive user interaction with the urban environment—government organizations, educational and healthcare institutions, retail, cultural, and leisure facilities.

The digitalization of the city is a common goal that requires the involvement of all regional structures. Today, we are actively implementing the “smart city” concept. The launch of the “My City” mobile app is one of the key levers for digitalization of Svetlogorsk region. We will be able to widely present our industrial potential and use the “My City” platform as an excellent tool for interaction between government authorities, businesses representatives, residents, and visitors to the Svetlogorsk region.”
The app provides the most necessary information: events of the city, important news, promotions, discounts, and surveys. Almost all organizations in the region have their own accounts on the resource. They are structured by activity: city administration, active recreation, health and sports, and education. The main feature of the platform is the possibility of feedback with all project participants. Citizens will be able to find out the opening hours of stores and cafes, call the emergency, book a table at a cafe, and schedule a visit to a beauty salon.
