In the Year of Improvement and on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, Beltelecom joined an important industry initiative – planting trees on the Alley of Communications Workers.
The alley was laid at the Memorial Sign to the Heroes-Communications Workers on the territory of the Belarusian State Academy of Communications at 14, P. Brovka street. It has become a symbol of the memory of the great feat and the continuity of generations.
Representatives of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization, heads of industry enterprises, chairmen of primary trade union organizations headed by the chairman of the industry trade union Alexander Yakovlev took part in the tree planting. Beltelecom was represented at the event by First Deputy Director General Gennady Melnikov and Chairperson of the Trade Union Organization Anastasia Lozeiko.
Planting trees is a tribute to the feat of communications workers during the war and their invaluable contribution to the Great Victory. This is a reminder that the memory of the heroes will live forever!
