More than 60 representatives of various professional fields have been awarded state awards and letters of commendation from the President of the Republic of Belarus. The corresponding Decree and Order were signed on April 17 by the President Aleksandr Lukashenko.

The medals “For Labor Merit” were awarded to:
Gennady Melnikov, First Deputy Director General of RUE Beltelecom;
Gennady Govin, Deputy Director for Technical Issues of the Brest branch of RUE Beltelecom.
Gennady Melnikov’s entire professional life is connected with the telecommunications industry, to which he devoted more than 40 years. He began his career in 1981 as an engineer. Having worked his way up the career ladder, in 2020 Gennady Melnikov took the post of First Deputy General Director of RUE Beltelecom. His competence, responsibility and strategic thinking allow him to confidently achieve his goals and actively participate in the implementation of strategic development objectives of our enterprise.
Gennady Govin has a total of 37 years of experience, 31 of which he has been working in the communications industry. During his work at the Brest branch of RUE Beltelecom, Gennady Govin has established himself as a highly qualified specialist, a competent and proactive leader. Gennady Govin makes a significant contribution to the technical development of the branch, participates in the implementation of innovative solutions, shares his experience and knowledge with young telecommunications specialists.
